Mission Statement
The NMGWA is a 501(C)-(6) Non-Profit organization that works to assist, promote, encourage, support and protect the interest and welfare of the ground water industry and its users within the state of New Mexico.
The New Mexico Ground Water Association represents Well Drilling Contractors, Pump Installation Contractors, Manufacturers, Suppliers and Consultants involved in the Ground Water Industry in New Mexico and the Well Owners that use the wells we supply.
History of the NMGWA
The original association, the New Mexico Water Well Contractors Association, was first organized in 1952. It was incorporated in 1955. In 1978 the name was changed to the New Mexico Water Well Association to be more inclusive of the manufactures and suppliers so important to the industry.
In 1994 the membership voted to change their name to the New Mexico Ground Water Association.

Dear New Mexico Ground Water Association Members and Friends,
We are saddened to inform you that Robin Irwin passed away on March 14th after a short illness. As the Secretary/Treasurer, Robin was the Association’s backbone for over 20 years, and we will miss her dearly. She kept the Association running and was instrumental in its long-term success.
